Mohsen, who joined Dubai Police in 1984 as a technician in the Technical and Mechanical Department, has invented many systems and appliances to check fuel, electricity, and ignition systems in vehicles, as well as other systems. His hard work and dedication have paid off, and he feels proud to have received the honour from His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

“I have been honoured several times in the past, but receiving the honour from Shaikh Mohammed means a lot to me and my family,” he said.

Mohsen’s journey to success has not been easy. He pursued his studies while employed and finally got his MBA degree in engineering. He also obtained more than 85 diplomas in the field of technology to enhance his skills and benefit from new technologies.

In 1988, Mohsen invented a personal car, which was named by the media as the James Bond car. Later in 2006, he was nominated along with three police officers for Dubai Excellence Award 2007 for several inventions. Although he did not win that year, he did not give up hope of winning someday.

Mohsen attributes his achievement to the support provided by Lieutenant-General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police. He has also been awarded the Master Technician certificate by three automobile companies, including Mercedes, BMW, and Toyota, as well as other certificates from Nissan.
