Vodafone Idea Introduces New Subscription Plans for Prepaid Users

Vodafone Idea has announced new subscription plans for its prepaid users, offering access to a range of OTT apps and live TV channels. The new plans, dubbed Vi Movies & TV, will exist alongside the current Vi Movies & TV Pro prepaid plan, which offers access to over 13 OTT apps at Rs 202 per month.

Vi Movies & TV Plus: The Premium Option

The Vi Movies & TV Plus plan is a monthly subscription priced at Rs 248. It offers unlimited access to 17 OTT apps, including Disney+ Hotstar and Sony LIV, as well as 350 live TV channels. This plan can be accessed on two devices - TV and mobile - and also offers an extra 6GB of data for prepaid users.

Vi Movies & TV-Lite: The Budget-Friendly Option

The Vi Movies & TV-Lite prepaid plan will cost Rs 154 per month. It provides easy access to 16 OTT apps on a single mobile device. The plan comes with an additional 2GB of data.

Partnership with ZEE5

Vodafone Idea has also announced a new partnership with OTT player ZEE5. With this new addition, the Vi Movies & TV app now offers access to 17 OTT apps in one single subscription, at Rs 248 per month. Vi users can binge on their favorite content on top OTT apps such as Disney+ Hotstar, Sony LIV, ZEE5, and others all with a single subscription to Vi Movies and TV, on their mobile and TV.

The new plans are designed to provide Vodafone Idea users with a range of options to access their favorite OTT apps and live TV channels. With the addition of ZEE5 to the Vi Movies & TV app, users can now access a total of 17 OTT apps with a single subscription.

“With the launch of Vi Movies & TV Plus and Vi Movies & TV-Lite, we are offering our prepaid users a range of options to access their favorite OTT apps and live TV channels,” said a Vodafone Idea spokesperson.

The new plans are available to all Vodafone Idea prepaid users, and can be activated through the Vi app or by visiting the Vodafone Idea website.
